This organization is a component of
county government. The voting members of the
Authority include (6) civic-minded board
members who are appointed by the Brandenburg
City Council and the Meade County Fiscal
Court. The Meade County Judge Executive,
Mayor-City of Brandenburg, Mayor-City of
Muldraugh, and the Meade County Attorney also
attend the meetings.
The objectives of the Authority are to
enhance the existing business climate and
assist in locating new commercial and
industrial development in order to provide new
employment opportunities for the citizens of
Meade County.
