After overdosing, woman’s corpse taken out back with the trash

Stacy Carpenter, Carmon Martin and Roy Beam are being detained at the Meade County Detention Center.

According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), Deputies were dispatched to a residence located at 1058 Johnnie Pack Road on Oct. 2 at 5:12 p.m., regarding a drug overdose. Upon arrival at the location, just outside Brandenburg, Deputies located the body of a deceased female. Three other individuals at the residence stated that they had attempted to resuscitate the deceased female. Unable to revive her, they removed her from the home and placed her on the back porch in a chair surrounded by piles of garbage. According to law enforcement, the death was caused by a fentanyl overdose.

The MCSO Detective conducted a search of the property and found drugs, assorted drug paraphernalia with residue and firearms in the home. The investigation is still ongoing. As a result, information about the deceased female is not being released at this time. All court information is pending at this time.

Stacy Carpenter, 32, Carmon Martin, 45, and Roy Beam, 78, were arrested and all charged with abuse of a corpse, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (opiates), and possession of drug paraphernalia – buy/possess. They are all three currently being detained at the Meade County Detention Center.
