Anna Frances Horn, age 90, of Irvington passed away January 31 at her home.
She was born October 6, 1929 to the late Leo Benton and Lella Mae Triplett Bandy. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Gail Miller; three sisters, Mary Catherine Kiper, Thelma Jean Dowell, and Ava Lois Miracle; a grandson, Keith Caulk; a daughter-in-law, Betty Ward; and two great-grandchildren.
She was a loving wife for 64 years. She worked for the American Tobacco Company; she was a care giver and “Mother Hen” to her family. She also loved to work in her flower beds.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Horn; three children, Raymond Lee Ward of Irvington, Finis Eugene Ward of Louisville, and Paula Jonell Horn of Irvington; a son-in-law, Danny Dale Miller of Union Star; five grandchildren, Lori Ann (J.B.) Higgs of Georgetown, IN, Thomas Lee (Ronda) Ward of Louisville, Angela Maechale Miller of Union Star, Larry Caulk of Louisville, and Casey Emburg of Louisville; twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday February 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
