Bowling teams compete at State

MCHS sent two unified teams to compete in KHSAA State Bowling tournament on March 24. Team 1 consisted of Regional Champions Ethan McCormick and Camden Corbin who bowled against Beachwood in the first round. They found it difficult getting past Beachwood even with Camden finishing strong with all strikes in the 10th frame and would be eliminated from the state tournament.

Team 2 consisted of Regional Runner-up brothers Parker Whitaker and Clayton Whitaker. They started the tournament bowling against Harrison County. They continued to bowl strong and easily defeated Harrison County to advance to the top 8. There, they went up against Madison Southern. Unfortunately, Madison came out on top.
