Bullet points from Gov.'s April 12 update


Today, the Gov. announced a partnership between the state and Kroger that would allow high-risk people, such as the elderly and healthcare workers, to receive drive-through testing.


Today's update:

Gov. announced 134 new cases of COVID-19 in Kentucky. With duplications/errors accounted for, the total number of cases in KY is 1,963.


The Gov. announced there were 3 additional deaths in Kentucky due to COVID-19. That brings the total number of deaths to 97 in the state.


Gov. said that 25,866 have been tested to date. About 667 have been hospitalized, with at least 289 still in the hospital. 256 people have been in the ICU, with at least 136 currently in the ICU.


At least 607 people in Kentucky have recovered from COVID-19.
