Bullet points from Gov.'s April 5 update: 38 new cases, 306 people have recovered, 5 have died today


Gov. said that Kentuckians had done much better with their social distancing this weekend compare to last.


Gov. said they were projecting a peak in early May.


The Gov. announced 38 new cases today, bringing the total up to 955. He said that 306 people that have now recovered from the virus. Confirmed more than 18,000 people have been tested, but they believe that number is actually higher.


Gov. announced that there were 5 deaths today from COVID-19. He asked Kentuckians to light up their homes and businesses in green in remembrance.


No new executive orders issued today.
