Chamber gives back during COVID-19

The Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce was scheduled to have an awards banquet on March 13. Due to COVID-19, they were not able to present their members with the awards the community nominated them for. On May 28, the Chamber found a way to safely surprise the winners with their awards.


The Winners included: Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce

Small Business of the Year 2020 Rivertown Spirits, Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce Outstanding New Member of the Year 2020 Lumber Jack’s Lodge, Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce Business Member of the Year 2020 Meade County Rural Electric Community Cooperative, and the Jim Kimbell Award for Outstanding Support of the Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce 2020 Tim Gossett. *Not pictured Bill Corum Meade County Area Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year.
