Charges of first-degree robbery have been filed against two juveniles in relation to the robbery that occurred in Brandenburg in December of last year.

According to a Facebook post made by the Brandenburg Police Department in December, at approximately 5 a.m., a subject entered the Valero located at 1200 Bypass Road. The subject was dressed in all black, wearing a ski mask, and was carrying a black and tan rifle.

During the robbery, there was cash and merchandise taken. The clerk’s purse was also taken at gun point.

Charges were filed on Feb. 25. The Brandenburg Police Department worked closely with the Louisville Metro Police Department due to the same individuals committing a robbery in their jurisdiction.

Brandenburg Police Chief Brian Haag says that the department will release more information when it is available. The case is still under investigation.
