Mr. Charlie Dupin, age 85, of Guston, passed away on Friday, February 14, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. Charlie was a carpenter by trade, building many houses in Meade and surrounding counties. He was a member of Harvest for Jesus Christ house of Prayer in McQuady.
Mr. Dupin was preceded in death by his parents, Coy Lee and Ida Mae Nicholes Dupin; his wife, Helene Goins Dupin; his infant daughter, Mary Kathleen; his grandson, Jason Todd Sipes; and his great-great grandson, Carson James Hicks. He is survived by six children, Charlotte Wayne and her husband, Steve, Brandenburg, Charlie Ray Dupin and his wife, Kathy, Vine Grove, Audra Armes and her husband, Vernon, Terry Dupin and his wife, Gaynell, Penny Robinson and her husband, Wayne, all of Guston, and Ricky Dupin, Irvington; 7 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, February 17, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Donnie Flood officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.
