David Wayne Pack, age 78 of Hudson, KY formerly of Brandenburg, KY passed away at home on October 27, 2021.
He was born on August 24, 1943 in Brandenburg, KY, son of the late Ruth V. Crabb Pack and James Theodore Pack, Sr. Along with his parents; he was preceded in death by his sisters, Doris Parks and Lamoine Marcum; and his brother, James T. Pack, Jr..
David was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran; retired from L&N Railroad; Member of Beechland Baptist Church in Louisville; Attended New Life Vision Church; he loved the outdoors and was always the life of the party; he talked a lot, and enjoyed being the “Old soldier” who told stories that started out with “did I ever tell you about that one time”; Loved a good beer and a big cigar; country music lover who loved the beach but not as much as “his girls” and his wife. Loved to go to the races with his Nascar buddies, and never met a stranger. He is a man that was loved and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Brenda Pack; daughters, Jennifer (Brian) Fisher and Kimberly (Billy Minton) Grassman; grandchildren, Erica (Laurence) Sherrod, Jansen Fisher, Tyler (Nicole) Grassman, Adriana Fisher, Mollie Fisher, and Isabella Fisher; great-grandchildren, Arthur, Lauren, Ava, and Elias.
Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 12:00-8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 AM on Thursday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. Bro. Chris McGuffin officiating, and burial to follow in Buck Grove Cemetery.
