Edward Terrance “Terry” Perkins, age 63 of Hardinsburg died Wednesday, April 15 at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born in Hardinsburg on November 15, 1956, the son of the late Edward Owen and Jewel Dean Arms Perkins. Terry was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and the Worship team. He was an employee in the maintenance department of Domtar and had plans to retire in May 2020. Terry was very musically talented and enjoyed writing and playing music. He was very athletic and participated in running, biking, tennis and golf. His passion was hunting and recently built his “hunting palace” as his wife referred to it. Terry loved his family and they adored him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Stacey Blake and father-in-law Pete Taul. Terry is survived by his wife Gail Perkins of Hardinsburg; 3 children: Nathaniel Perkins of Hardinsburg, Tamara Perkins of Ashland, Tara (Gary) Austin of English, IN; 7 grandchildren: Dylan Chain, Westin and Langston Perkins, Cheyenne and Eldon Austin, Haley and Waylon Carter; Mother-in-law: Hilda Taul of Hardinsburg. In keeping with the wishes of Terry, the family has chosen cremation. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Corinth Baptist Church.
