"If you spend a lot of time on the new trail spur of Buttermilk Falls you may have noticed some changes. There were several damaged and invasive trees in one area so the Buttermilk Falls Trail committee decided to do some clean up and add a few picnic tables, benches and trash receptacles. This new area will be called the Gerry Lynn Memorial Park in recognition of his efforts on the new trail spur. Estimated costs will be around $10,000 and we are accepting donations for the addition. Included in the pics is a form with information on donating toward the project and general trail improvements. Every penny helps keep the trail in shape for the community to enjoy. Estimated completion is May 2021, just in time for great weather! We look forward to seeing you on the trail!"
