Gov. Beshear updates Ky,

Gov. Beshear updated the state on the COVID-19 situation this afternoon. He again reiterated that the next 2-3 weeks are crucial in the state's battle against COVID-19, encouraging the public to diligently practice the recommended lifestyle changes.

In Kentucky, there have been 248 positive test results. There have been 50 new cases today since yesterday.

There are no cases in Meade County as of this afternoon.

Gov. Beshear asked county judge/executives and mayors to closely monitor parks. If the public is not practicing social distancing, he suggested that the parks be closed. He said he was giving the state parks the same power.
