Granddad moves his house

 Sometime in late spring of 2008, in May, my friend Peggy Greenwell and I were writing a feature story for the “Messenger,” and Peggy set up an appointment, to meet Hurschel and Hazel Hardesty about a long-ago house moving story. I wrote the story, but I don’t remember it getting in print, and maybe that’s a good thing, because I centered my story on the house moving, while the real story is about a young boy becoming a man.
