Imogene Pryor Woods Ricketts, age 88 of Irvington, KY passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Helmwood Healthcare Center in Elizabethtown.

She was born on October 5, 1931 daughter of the late John T. Pryor and Pearl Whitley Pryor in Red Boiling Springs, TN. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her: husbands, Robert R. “Bobby” Woods and Rowland D. “Rick” Ricketts, II; sisters, Mary Ellen May and Gwendolyn Hogan; brothers, Raymond Pryor and Fred Pryor; step-sons, Rowland D. Ricketts, III, David Ricketts, and Raymond Ricketts; step-grandson, Adam Ricketts; and nephews, Clay Pryor and Tommy Banton.

Imogene was a member of Irvington United Methodist Church; Retired from the Breckinridge County Board of Education where she taught Home-Economics for 30 years; Member of the Order of the Eastern Star #544 in Irvington; former member of the Red Hat Society; a volunteer for Hosparus of Central Kentucky for over 10 years; and in recent years, attended College Heights United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown.

She is survived by her: step-children, Johnny (Leslie) Ricketts of Elizabethtown, Jimmie Sue (Gerry) Stanford of Benbrook, TX, and Karen (Alex) Angeline of Elizabethtown; nieces, Janice Haley, Martha Gellenbeck, Nancy May, Pamela Pryor, Brenda Pryor; nephew, Samuel May; several great nieces and nephews; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and step-daughter-in-law, Marietta Ricketts.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M. EDT.

Funeral Services was held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. EDT from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Pastors Don Sexton and Ernie Bagley officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
