James Alton “Jimmy” Fackler, Jr, age 74, of Webster, KY, passed away Saturday, February at his residence.
Jimmy was born August 28, 1945 in Webster son of the late James Alton and Josephine Louise Hardesty Fackler, Sr. His children, William Lawrence Fackler and Steven E. Brown; father-in-law, Kenneth Brown; grandson, Dylan Logan Webster; great-granddaughter, Avery Rae Ann Lucas; and sister, Lu Foushee also preceded him in death.
Jimmy was a 1963 graduate of Meade County High School. During his life he worked as a farmer, truck driver, and CO2 technician and retired from the Meade County Road Department. Jimmy was a devoted member of St. Mary Magdalen in Payneville and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 11404 in Brandenburg.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Angie Fackler; three daughters: Patty (Joey) Lucas, Tina (Cary) Mangin, and Rebecca (Kyle) Webster; seven grandchildren: Mark (Kelli) Waddle, Tonya (Chris) Claycomb, Bryan Lucas, Emily Lucas, Erica Lockard, Lailah Brown, and Roman Webster; three great-grandchildren: Adi Waddle, and Xavier and Ezra Claycomb; sisters: Norma (James) Mills, Anna (James) Popham, and Frankie (Larry) Roederer; many nieces and nephews; and his special caregiver, Wendy Ford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 12 at 1:00 EST at St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi in Payneville with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 11 from 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. A Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
