James Thomas Perrin

James Thomas Perrin, Jr. age 55 of Irvington, KY passed away at home on March 9, 2021.

He was born on July 18, 1965 in Louisville, KY son of the late James Thomas Perrin, Sr. and Frances Draper Burton Perrin.

Jim was an upholsterer by trade, one of the best in a disappearing profession. He was owner of Jim’s Upholstery in Irvington. He had worked at Tyson Foods and was a manager for the Berne Aparel (a sewing Company in Hardinsburg) before they moved the plant to Mexico. He was a car man through and through; enjoyed NASCAR; and was an avid Hot Wheels collector.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Wise Perrin; children, Thomas (Desirae Nix) Hogan of Louisville, Evelyn (Arild) Sand of Norway; sisters, Tommie Hargus of Crestwood, Cathy Kincaid of Jeffersonville, IN, Diane (Jeff) Grandstaff of SC; brothers, Andy Perrin of Morgantown and Keith Glass of IL; and grandchildren, Brent and Matthew Hogan, and Pia and Vera Sand.

Visitation will be held at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington, on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 11-2:00 P.M. EDT.

Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. EDT with Brother Tim Lucas officiating, burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery next to his parents.
