Man arrested for passing an unloading school bus

On Nov. 11, a Meade County Sheriff’s Deputy came into contact with Joshua Vincent while he was at his residence. Vincent had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody. The warrant on Vincent stemmed from an incident in which he allegedly failed to stop the vehicle he was operating upon approaching a school bus with its stop arm and signal lights activated. He allegedly wantonly engaged in conduct which created a substantial danger of physical injury to four children exiting a school bus when he passed the right side of the bus and almost hit the children, after the stop arm and signal lights had been activated. Vincent was charged with Passing Loading/Unloading School/Church Bus and Wanton Endangerment in the Second Degree.
