
MCHS Swim Team gives it their all at Regionals

On Saturday, April 10, the Meade County High School Swim team went to the KHSAA Regional III Swimming & Diving Championship in Russell Springs, KY and gave it their all.

Region All Team—Kara Bewley
100 Breast Region Champ—Kara Bewley—Automatic State Bid
Region Runner Up—Boys Team
10 of 17 advanced to the KHSAA State Championship
Automatic bid to state—100 Back—Tanner Medley
Automatic bid to state—400 Free Relay—Lillian Slack, Kara Bewley, Macy Barr, and Christine Dreitzler
Several at large bids advance to state
Meade County Swim did not disappoint today. I watched our team cheer for their teammates as well as their struggling and winning opponents. They are a class act. Meade was well represented today!”
