MCHS Tennis says goodbye to their seniors

On May 13, the Meade County High School Tennis Team’s coaches and MCHS leadership took time to recognize their four seniors prior to the teams last home meet of the season. The four seniors were: Loren Littrel, the daughter of Marty and Angie Littrel, has been a member of the varsity tennis team for the last two years. She is a member of the MCHS Y club, FCA, HOSA, NHS and Pep Club. In addition to tennis, she also was a member of the MCHS Ladywaves Soccer team. Her favorite memory as a Ladywave tennis player is just being able to spend time with the team and build friendships. Cara Miller, the daughter of Rob and Michele Miller, has been a member of the varsity tennis team for the last six years. She is currently involved with FCA, FBLA, Pep Club, SADD, NHS. Her favorite memory as a Ladywave tennis player was having the chance to play doubles with Reagan Kupper this year and the fun they’ve had. Kacie Ray, daughter of Terry and Carrie Ray, has been a member of the varsity tennis team for the last two years. She is involved with FCA, NHS, SADD, Youth Salute and was a member of the 2022 Elite 8 Ladywave Basketball Team. Her favorite memory while playing tennis was all the practices with Natalie Nelson and laughs over “questionable calls of if the tennis ball was in or out.” Ethan Medley, son of Andy and Beth Medley, has been a member of varsity tennis for the past two years. He is involved with HVAC Tech at Alpha Mechanical, and Skills USA. In addition to tennis, he also was a member of the Greenwave Varsity Soccer Team. His favorite memory while a part of the team was making it to the quarter finals of the regional tournament with his doubles partner, Van Littrel, in his first year.
