Last week the Kentucky FFA Association hosted its annual state convention. Due to the pandemic and gathering guidelines in place at this time, the convention was hosted virtually this year. Not all contests and events were able to be held as a result, but those, which could either be done virtually or by submission, were held. The Meade County Chapter was named a Gold Emblem Chapter and eight students had their proficiencies place in the top three at state, with three of those students qualifying for nationals.
This will be covered in more depth in a future article since the convention ended too close to our print date to fully cover the students’ accomplishments.
