Meade County students present at event that individual who tested positive for coronavirus attended

WDRB News has reported that, according to the Floyd County Health Department, during the past week, a patient that tested positive for coronavirus was present at a number of events. One of those events was a Color Guard competition at Floyd Central High School on March 7. There were at least 50 Meade County Students in attendance at that event. A local doctor has stated that the risk is still low, but urges everyone to take the recommendations of the Governor and the Center for Disease Control seriously. There are still no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Meade County.
