Minister’s Corner

Tabernacle of Worship

Pastor Lida Bain

As we leave November behind and begin the last month of 2020, we find ourselves with more questions than answers. It’s been a year like none other for most all of us. But its also been a year that we can show those around us that “no matter what” we have a friend in Jesus.

I have found myself walking through my home singing that song… I learned as a child. Perhaps you’ve sang it yourself? Let me encourage you that even if you’ve found yourself in the worst year of your life, that we have a friend that sticks closer than a brother.

One part of that song says, “And what a privilege to carry…Everything to God in prayer.”

I don’t know about you but I have a tendency, to try and carry everything on my own…I don’t like to ask anyone to help me. But God’s Word clearly tells us to “cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

So, when you wonder “does anyone really care?” Remember, our heavenly Father cares so very much that He sent His only son…and He sent Him to pay a debt we could never pay.

I’m writing this the day before Thanksgiving, so let me end with ‘Thank You Jesus for caring for me’ …I pray God will bless you and be with you through every test or trial you may be going through!
