Opal I. Champine



Opal I. Champine, 99, of Radcliff, KY, died peacefully Thursday, February 11, 2021, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Champine; her parents, William Tell and Sarah Pearl Blanks Penrod, two sisters, Ruby Robinson, and Pauline Eifert; and a brother, Bill Penrod.

She is survived by her son, Richard W. Champine (LeDean) of Saginaw, MI; a daughter, Wanda L. Nowak of Radcliff, KY; three grandchildren, Rena Nowak-Stidam (Jeff); Johnny Nowak and Candice Champine (Jason Smith); six great-grandchildren, Zane Nowak, Skylar and Julia Stidam, Heather Godbout, Emma and Shane Champine-Smith.

Visitation was on Sunday, February 14th, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, 2072 South Dixie Boulevard, Radcliff, KY.

In Michigan, visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 20th, at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township, Michigan.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Kaul Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cadillac Memorial Gardens, Clinton Township.
