Pets In Need Society monthly meeting Sept. 27

Pets In Need Society monthly meeting will be Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Brandenburg Riverfront Park far pavilion #1. Everyone is welcome. Come early to socialize with the group.

This year, PINS has helped 521 cats and dogs get spayed or neutered with the grand total of 12,225 pets fixed with our help! This is accomplished with fundraising, donations and grants that fund our programs for Meade County.

The next fundraiser is the annual fall yard sale, which, this year, will be in conjunction with the HWY 60 Yard Sale on Oct. 1 and Oct. 2. The location will be at the old Irvington school right side entrance. Donations of items are welcomed and can be dropped off during this event or prior at Creature Comfort Boarding Kennel at Weldon Road & HWY 1638. Our group has a room at the school that the Clothes Closet has graciously given to us for use and we will be utilizing for the yard sale. For donations that need picking up, or if you need information about our group, please leave us a message on our voicemail (270) 422-3838 so we can get back to you. Thank you for the support to help pets!
