Bailey Hagen stated that she was traveling a little fast and that Unit 1 jumped the railroad tracks at Weldon Rd. & Lawson Woods Rd. as it crossed. Unit 1 collided into a retaining wall and then rolled back down the road and came to rest on the railroad tracks.
Unit 1 was being operated eastbound on KY 144. Unit 1 traveled off the left shoulder of the roadway and struck a fence. Unit 1 was unoccupied when [THE DEPUTY] arrived. [THE DEPUTY] located two female subjects near the scene, but both subjects denied driving the vehicle.
Unit 1 was traveling southbound on Payneville Rd. Unit 1 was being operated by Kathryn King. Unit 2 was traveling northbound on Payneville Rd. Unit 2 was being operated by Joseph Hall.
King advised that she was approaching the intersection of Fairgrounds Rd. King advised that there was a side-by-side in the parking lot of New Highlands Church. King advised that she was not paying attention to the road because she was looking at the side-by-side. King advised that she began to turn left onto Fairground Rd. and realized that she turned in front of Unit 2.
Hall advised that he was heading home and as he approached the intersection, Unit 1 turned in front of him.
Unit 1 was traveling southbound on Joe Prather behind Unit 2. Unit 1 was being operated by Sammi Phillips. Unit 2 was traveling southbound on Joe Prather. Unit 2 was being operated by Carrie Jarboe.
Phillips advised that she was approaching the intersection of HWY 60 when the light had changed.
Phillips advised that she tried to stop but could not in time. Phillips advised that she slid into the back of Unit 2.
Jarboe advised that the light at HWY 60 had changed so she stopped and the vehicle behind her hit her.
Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on Big Spring Rd. Unit 1 was being operated by Christy Wiles.
Christy advised as she was approaching [redacted], she saw a vehicle traveling westbound in her lane. Christy stated that she tried getting off the roadway as much as she could to avoid hitting the truck head-on. Christy stated that once the truck had passed her, she just tried to bring her vehicle back onto the roadway. Christy stated that is when her vehicle traveled a crossed the roadway and struck an earth embankment on the left shoulder of the roadway. Christy stated after that her vehicle began to roll.
It appears that the right tires of Unit 1’s vehicle left the right shoulder of the roadway before [redacted] Big Spring Rd. Unit 1 traveled approximately 30 yards with the right tire in the ditch line. It appears that Unit 1 reentered the roadway just before the driveway of [redacted] Big Spring Rd. Tire marks were observed leading straight across the roadway to the westbound shoulder. It appears that Unit 1 struck an earth embankment. It appears that the embankment caused Unit 1 to overturn. Due to the fresh gouge marks in the grass, it appears that Unit 1 overturned at least 2-3 times. Unit 1 came to rest in the front yard of [redacted] Big Spring Rd.
Unit 1 was being operated northbound on KY 313. Unit 2 was being operated northbound on KY 313 in front of Unit 1. Dawn Thorne stated she was traveling slowly due to a piece of farm equipment ahead of her vehicle. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 in the rear. Alexander Skaggs stated his brakes were not working properly earlier in the day.
At approximately 1010 hrs, on 12 May 2021, Lawson, Bailey reported a motor vehicle accident on HWY 933 adjacent to 2450 Olin Rd., Brandenburg, KY 40108.
Investigation revealed that Lawson, Bailey while operating a truck traveling east on HWY 933 was struck by a deer running across the roadway. The deer struck the left door handle and the corner cab of the truck. Lawson, Bailey declined medical attention.
Unit 1 was being operated eastbound on US 60. Unit 2 was being operated eastbound on US 60 in front of Unit 1.
Tina Mccoy stated she was attempting to pass Unit 2 when Unit 2 made a left turn in front of her. Tina Mccoy stated she did not see any turn signals.
Dannie Ammons stated she was preparing to make a left turn from east US 60 onto Redhawk Drive when a truck overtook her vehicle. Dannie Ammons stated she then proceeded with the left turn.
The right front corner of Unit 1 struck the left front corner of Unit 2 as Unit 2 was making the left turn. Unit 1 then traveled off the left shoulder of the roadway and overturned.
Unit 1 was traveling southbound on Joe Prather HWY (KY-313). Unit 1 was being operated by Zachary Hedrick.
Hedrick advised that he was traveling down the road when a deer jumped out in front of him. Hedrick advised that he did not have time to stop.
Both units were traveling East on KY 1638 (Old Mill Rd.). Leslie Compton stated that Edward Kiefer was stopped waiting to turn left into Madison’s Mini Mart when she saw them. She stated she applied her brakes but was unable to stop before colliding into the rear of Edward Kiefer. Leslie Compton stated she was checking the time on her phone.
