SPMS Eighth Grade Basketball Team honored

 Prior to their game against The North Hardin Middle School Trojans, the Stuart Pepper Middle School staff and coaches celebrated their eighth grade Ladywave Basketball players and managers on September 24.

 Manager Brianna Sturgeon is the daughter of Brian and Mandy Sturgeon. Briana plans to one day become an elementary school teacher. She likes to play basketball, shoot archery, go hunting and fishing and attend church. Her fondest memory was the bus rides and everyone falling at practice.

 Kari Hardesty is the daughter of Scott and Kim Hardesty. Kari hopes to one day become a veterinarian. She enjoys swimming, camping, playing with her pets as well as playing basketball. Her fondest memory while playing basketball was when she hit the game winning shot in the fifth grade.

 Ella Clanton is the daughter of LeAnn and Todd Clanton. Ella plans to some day attend college to become an elementary teacher. Her fondest memory while playing basketball is every time Mia fell—in games, as well as, practice.

 Mia Creech is the daughter of Ronnie and Kim Creech. Mia plans on attending college and one day to become a lawyer. Her fondest memory while playing basketball is riding the bus to the away games.

 Claire Cornett is the daughter of Chris and Krystal Cornett. Claire plans to travel and make lots of money after finishing school. She like playing basketball and spending time with family and friends. Her fondest memory while playing basketball is the bus rides and watching Mia fall during almost every game and practice.

 Brylee Yates is the daughter of Greg and Staci Yates. Brylee plans to attend medical school after high school while pursuing her love of baking. Her immediate plans include beating TK Stone in the Championship game later this season. She is a member of the SPMS Basketball and Volleyball teams, as well as the yearbook staff, and St. John Youth Ministry. Her fondest memories include the bus rides, competition days, and of course watching Mia skid across the floor.

 Addie Stull is the daughter of Jeremy and Iris Stull. Addie plans to attend the University of Kentucky to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical field. She is a member of the SPMS Basketball and Volleyball, yearbook staff, St. John Youth Ministry and 4-H Club. Her fondest memory while a being a Ladywave were the bus rides, scrimmages, and eating out with the team.

 Maggie Keith is the daughter of Stony and Candis Keith. Maggie plans to one day play basketball at the professional level. She enjoys playing basketball and hunting and fishing. Her fondest memory is when Mia clotheslined a girl on the opposing team.

 Paige Hall is the daughter of Nicholas Harrison and Keri Stallworth. Paige plans to attend college and one day to become a lawyer. She enjoys playing basketball, art, and chemistry. Her fondest memory while playing basketball is riding the bus to the away games.
