SPMS Ladywave Volleyball Players Honored

 Prior to the Stuart Pepper Middle School Ladywave Volleyball team playing their last regular season game on their home court, the coaches and staff took time to honor their eighth-grade player and managers.

 They began with their four mangers: Maddy Danzinger, escorted by her father Troy Danzinger, plans include going into the teaching program when she gets to high school, and leading the KYA conference. She would like to thank her fellow managers and Coach Saylor for making sure she enjoyed every point of the season. Her favorite memories include getting after game snacks.

 Gracie Prater, escorted by her parents Mike and Gena Prater, plans include becoming a physical therapist or a social worker. She would like to thank Coach Saylor for always being there and being a caring and kind person. Her favorite memory is building a bond with multiple girls and jamming out to music with the girls.

Mary Brooke Stith, escorted by her parents Kevin and Laura Stith, plans include going to Western Kentucky University to become an Anesthesiologist. She would like to thank Coach Saylor for the wonderful opportunity to be a manager. Also, to the team for being the nicest people to be around. Her favorite memory is hanging with the team and jamming to music.

 Emily Van Tassell, escorted by her mother Carla Van Tassell, plans include going to college and becoming an occupational therapist. She would like to thank her mom and dad for helping her through everything and always doing what is best for her. Her favorite memories include being on the bus with Carla, Calli, Gracie and Kaylan, arm wrestling and telling stories.

 After the managers were introduced, the players were escorted onto the floor:

 Calli Hanners, escorted by her parents Robert and Kim Hanners, plans include going to college to one day become a nurse. She would like to thank Coach Saylor, her grandparents, and her mom for being so supportive. Her favorite memory is preparing with the team.

 Kaylan Jupin, escorted by her parents Greg and Allison Jupin, plans include graduating high school and one day attend college. She would like to thank Coach Saylor and the rest of the team for their support and welcoming her to the team. Her favorite memory is having a great little and being the Libero the night we all switched positions.

 Reagan Kupper (El Presidente’) escorted by her parents Robert and Whitney Kupper, plans include attending the University of Kentucky after high school to one day become a special needs teacher, or to pursue a career in marketing. She would like to thank her granparents for being her biggest supporters, and coach Saylor for making her the best volleyball player she can be. Her favorite memory is all the photoshoots the team tried to have.

 Zoey Miller, escorted by Amanda and Brandon Rogers, plans include becoming Tik-Toc famous one day. She would like to thank her parents, coach Saylor, and her club coach for supporting her. Her favorite memory is watching Calli make Tik-Toks on the bus.

 Maggie Quinn, escorted by Patrick and Traci Quinn, Rita Turner and Rhett Pike, plans include going to college after high school to become a kindergarten teacher. She would like to thank her parents, coach Saylor, and her club coach for pushing her and making her a better volleyball player. Her favorite memories are making Tik-Tok’s before games.

 Clara Rogers, escorted by her mother Amanda, while her father, Brandon Rogers, an active duty Marine is stationed in California, plans include going to the University of Louisville to play volleyball, while studying to become a surgeon. She would like to thank Coach Saylor for always pushing her to do her best, and always supporting her. Clara’s favorite memory is when she almost broke her ankle and looked at Lydia who almost died laughing.

 Lydia Santos, escorted by her parents Amanda and Milton Santos, plans include attending the University of Louisville after high school to one day become a special needs therapist. She would like to thank Coach Saylor for always helping her to get better, and always believing in her. Her favorite memory is when Clara almost broke her ankle and she started dying laughing.

 Lilly Whelan, escorted by her parents Pat and Angie Whelan, plans include attending the University of Kentucky to study law, and hopefully play volleyball for the Lady Wildcats. She would like to thank her parents for getting her to and from practices, and also to her coach and teammates for believing in her. Lilly’s favorite memories include having an amazing little, getting to play with my best friends, and the forever friendships she has made through volleyball.

 Calli Wiles, escorted by her parents Chris and Christy Wiles, plans include going to Oregon University to play either softball or volleyball, while becoming a nurse and making BANK. She would like to thank her Momma, Dad, coach Saylor and her club coach for being so supportive in everything that she has done. Her favorite memory is getting to spend time with her best friends.
