On Feb. 13, the Stuart Pepper Middle School Ladywaves Volleyball team hosted North Hardin Christian to their home court. Stuart Pepper lost their first game of the season on Monday Feb 10 and were looking to put that behind them and get back to their winning ways. In their first set, Stuart Pepper was able to jump out in front of Christian early, and never let off the gas. The Ladywaves maintained their early lead all the way through the remainder of the first set and went on to win the first set by a score of 21-13.

In the second set the Ladywaves would stumble a little at the beginning, but soon fell back into their routine of setting up the front for kills. Even with Stuart Pepper having some miscues, North Hardin Christian was never able to put any sort of rally together to try and close the gap. Once again Stuart Pepper’s serves would get them back into their rhythm, making it difficult for North Hardin Christian to return the ball. The Ladywaves pulled together late in the game, setting their front line to put the ball away, and the game as they won easily by a score of 21-15. Their season record now stands at 8-1.
