Stolen cards used to purchase diesel

Three individuals have been charged in a case involving stolen credit cards and diesel fuel.

According to Brandenburg Police Chief Brian Haag, their agency had received information on Dec. 17 that someone’s card had been used to make two back-to-back purchases at the Circle K in Brandenburg, one for $149.64 and one for $131.20.

Brandenburg Police pulled video from the Circle K, and the vehicles involved matched vehicles involved in a similar situation at the Valero on Highway 60. Haag received information that the gas station on Highway 60 had about 150 cards used and between $20,000 and $30,000 in fuel taken.
