If you’re looking for something to do this weekend to get in the Halloween spirit, the Georgetown Drive-In across the bridge in Georgetown, Ind. may be just what you’re looking for. On Saturday, Sept. 25, the drive-in will host its final night of their 70th season showing movies. It will take on a more spooky conversion, converting into the Creepy Cruise-In VI Goes to the Dogs. On Screen One they will be showing John Carpenters’ ‘Cristine’, Stephen Kings’ ‘Pet Sematary’ and Wes Cravens’ ‘Nightmare on Elm Street.’ On their Scaredy Cat Screen, they will be showing PAW Patrol—The Movie and Scooby-Doo 2—Monsters Unleashed. Prizes will be awarded to decorated cars deemed ‘The Spookiest Rides’ and there will also be a dog costume contest. They are raising money for the NAFC Animal Shelter and ask for anyone bringing a dog to pay $2 per pet to help support the shelter. Uncle Jesse’s Chili, brats and ribeye sandwiches will be some of the food sold that night. There will also be a game called “Fright Fetch” where winners will be eligible for multiple prizes, including a vintage Terminator 2 Arcade Cabinet. The Bubble Car will also be on hand for the kids.
