Timothy “Tim” Lewis McCollum

Timothy “Tim” Lewis McCollum, age 62, of Brandenburg, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021, in Brandenburg, KY.

He was born on March 27, 1958, in Louisville, KY, son of Albert Lewis McCollum and the late Jo Ann Chappell McCollum. Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruby and Jack Chappell and Marchie and Ethel McCollum; and father-in-law, Donald Stanfield.

Tim worked for American Beverage Marketing for many years in New Albany, IN, and was a former employee of Rainbow Bakery in Louisville. He liked to golf, enjoyed watching his kids play sports, and was an avid U of L sports fan. Tim was a dedicated family man, extremely hard-working, and one of the nicest men you would ever meet.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Stanfield McCollum; children, Angelia (Joel) Rhea of Brandenburg, Josh (Michael Mizrahi) McCollum of Philadelphia, PA, Dallas Stanfield of Brandenburg; sister, Pamela (Brad) Chism of Brandenburg; brothers, Lloyd (Paula) McCollum of Brandenburg and Paul McCollum of Louisville; grandchildren, Lily, William, and Aiden Rhea; nephew, Joey Joyce of Louisville; aunt, Janice (Eddy) Bewley of Brandenburg; and several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. from Raymond Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation was held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2021, from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, at the Raymond Baptist Church, 7955 Hwy 477, Webster, KY 40176, from 10:00 -11:00 A.M.
