Chad Hobbs, Vice President of Flaherty Community Park; Dan Lancaster, President of Flaherty Community Park; and Al St. John, Tony Brown Chevrolet Sales and Leasing Consultant stand in front of boxes of baseball/softball equipment that the dealership donated to the park as part of the Chevy Youth Baseball and Softball program. During a recent promotion, every test drive of a vehicle raised funds towards the equipment. The equipment included batting tees, ball buckets, equipment bags, training balls and mitts, a hitting net, first aid kits, score books, and pitch counters. Local youth were also encouraged to sign up through the dealership for a free skills camp that took place at Louisville Slugger Field. On behalf of everyone at Flaherty Community Park, we can’t say thank you enough to Travis and Rachel Flaherty and everyone at Tony Brown Chevrolet for this huge donation to the youth of our county. The Flaherty’s, owners of Tony Brown Chevrolet, also plan to make a cash donation to the baseball and softball programs at Meade-Olin Park.
