Truck collides into school bus

No students were injured after a truck collided with a school bus on Dec. 9.

According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 3:33 p.m., The Meade County Sheriff’s Office along with Meade County Fire and Rescue, Muldraugh Fire and Rescue, Meade County EMS, Hardin County EMS and Ft. Knox EMS responded to a two-vehicle accident at 3840 Old Mill Road (KY1638).

A white 2014 Chevrolet pickup driven by Joseph Weick, of Battletown, collided into the rear of a Meade County school bus that was stopped, with flashing lights activated, stop sign out, and park brake setting, getting ready to unload students.
