Veteran and Christian author exposes America’s increased rate of moral decline as a result of the CO
Author Jerry Albritton seeks to present a thought provoking conversation on the cultural, social, spiritual, political, and racial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and how the unprecedented events of 2020 and 2021 have exacerbated the moral decline in American society. “There is a war waging for the soul of America,” says Albritton. “We are in need of divine guidance.”
In America’s Other Pandemic: A Christian’s Perspective on the Decaying of America’s Moral Foundation, Albritton makes the case that today’s cultural climate no longer represents the ideals upon which America was founded. The book brings a stark reality of the fight for America’s soul to the forefront of America’s conscience. Albritton calls for introspection and encourages readers to take an internal self-guided examination by posing a series of questions accompanied by relevant Biblical passages. Reaffirming American’s founding moral principles along with God’s perspective, Albritton seeks to transform how Americans interact with one another and longs for a diverse America in which all Americans feel safe. “I want readers to use the lessons learned to rethink their values, how they treat others, and turn away from wickedness and prejudice to create a new America where all people are treated equally and judged solely on the merit of their actions.” America’s Other Pandemic is available for purchase online at several retail outlets.
The book is now available at Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
