We are thankful for your recycling efforts

By Rick Sturgeon

I hope that all of you are managing the challenges of Covid19. So far, all of us at the recycle center have remained virus free and have worked right along through the pandemic.

I am glad to see that so many of you are coming to our facility wearing masks and social distancing. If we all continue to do our part, we will get through this together.

The holiday season is upon us and it’s the time of year when business begins to slow down for us through the winter. Like the old saying goes, “We’ll take it as it comes.”

Our roll-off business has been busy and steady. Meade County Solid Waste & Recycle appreciates your roll off business. If you would like to rent a box or need information about doing so, feel free to call us at (270) 422-2868.

Meade County’s Recyclers are doing an incredible job! Your continual efforts will ensure the lasting success of our recycling program. Our county’s operation is considered to be a model for other facilities in the Commonwealth of Kentucky . . . Something to be proud of.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions!! Visit our main recycle and/or convenience center in Brandenburg or one of our seven satellite locations. Recycling today will help future generations of our very own families!

All of us at Meade County Solid Waste & Recycle strive to promote a friendly atmosphere at our facility. Please feel free to stop by and see us any time. We would love for you to visit.

I hope that everyone has a safe holiday this Thanksgiving. Most importantly, please think of one another during these challenging times. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
