For most of us, that is almost impossible to imagine. The potential that has for the county is huge, but at what cost?
Nucor’s arrival will cost the county its grain elevator. Many farmers will have to spend most — if not all — of their profit margins on more fuel for longer delivery trips. For some, it means eliminating the products they’d need to deliver from their operation.
