Worth Eugene “Chip” Howard, Jr., age 77 of Brandenburg, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN.
Worth was born January 1, 1943, in Akron, OH to the late Worth Eugene Howard, Sr. and Mildred Baskett Howard.
Worth was a retired History Teacher that loved his family’s history, Brandenburg history, and Civil War history. He was a member of the North South Skirmish Association which is a competitive black powder shooting organization. He was a member of the NRA and a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity of Bowling Green State University.
He is survived by his wife, Adrienne Howard of Brandenburg, KY; sons, Worth E. Howard, III and Jesse W. (Susan) Howard; grandchildren, Emily Howard, Alexandria Howard, Ethan Howard, Austin Howard, Lauren Howard, and Adam Howard and great-granddaughter, Melanie Silvetti.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at 1 P.M. EDT at Cap Anderson Cemetery in Brandenburg.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:30 A.M. until 1 P.M. from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home.
